Union Bank of Switzerland

Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS) is a major international bank. Having selected and purchased the complete SAP Suite, UBS engaged in the implementation and ongoing rollout of one of the largest SAP installations in Europe. The UBS team, based in London, have replaced all legacy systems incorporating SAP FI/CO, Procurement, HCM, CRM, CML and Service systems.

Enabling Change

iTrain were appointed as the major training partner for the programme and have been working with UBS continually since then. iTrain are responsible for working with the wider UBS team to develop and deliver a complete range of training programmes to super user and end users across the entire SAP suite. iTrain has developed and delivered the training across England and Europe to support a highly complex rollout of the new business processes and procedures. The iTrain team were responsible for the incorporation of the new procedures into the programme materials (both classroom and eLearning), for the ongoing presentation of the new system and also for the business process changes associated with the programme. iTrain Education’s services were instrumental in the effective re-organisation and realisation of savings for UBS.

iTrain delivered a range of training programmes including the flagship CSIP project (Customer Service Information Programme). The CSIP project involved the implementation of the SAP CRM 7 module and various components associated with the SAP CML module for loans. These included the full implementation and rollout of the new SAP Web Gui interface within the service and loans centre and training for a wide range of integrated functions within the centre and dispersed works programmes. iTrain were responsible for the development and update of training materials using RWD’s Infopak product which were used in classroom training as well as self study modes deployed using iTrain’s Stratus LMS toolkit. The iTrain team gained extensive experience of these modules during the two year project lifecycle and were responsible for the delivery of an organisation-wide training project, in order to ensure that UBS fully realises the benefits of its SAP investment.
