The Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) is the government agency which is responsible for ensuring that medicines and medical devices work, and are acceptably safe. No product is risk-free, so the agency uses fact based judgment with swift action to protect the public. The aim is to make as much information publicly accessible as possible.

Enabling Change

MHRA has implemented a comprehensive Oracle 11i suite of modules to manage the entire Financial and HRMS processes of this major government agency. iTrain was directly appointed by both the finance department and the HR department to develop and deliver the comprehensive range of training and consultancy programmes needed to support the implementation of the suite of modules that includes General Ledger (including ADI), Accounts Payable, Purchasing, i-Procurement, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management and Oracle HRMS Core.

On completion of the formal implementation programme, iTrain has been permanently retained to provide ongoing staff mentoring and full-time application support within both departments, together with responsibility for the comprehensive change management programmes required within the two departments to fully support the integration and reconfiguration of the systems, according to the organisation’s business needs. iTrain is now engaged on a major redevelopment and “hot integration” of the HRMS enterprise model to rebuild the reporting and purchasing approvals hierarchies and to establish the HR system as world class. We provide a comprehensive support service delivering business consultancy, technical and functional support across the Oracle suite. Most recently we have provided a specialised consultancy programme that has reconfigured the full reporting suite for Finance and Human Resources.
