ITV
ITV Productions is the primary producer in the UK for the ITV channels, and also produces for BBC, Channel 4, five, Sky One and other satellite and digital broadcasters under its Granada brand. Key production centres include London, Manchester, Leeds, Norwich and Bristol.
ITV Productions implemented a complete finance and HR improvement programme called 21st Century Finance incorporating Core Financials, Human Resources, Oracle Projects and P2P to support the financial management of programmes, addressing issues arising from numerous budgeting and costing systems across ITV Productions, duplication of data, time spent reconciling and partially-informed decision making.
Enabling Change
iTrain was engaged to design and deploy a classroom and web based training solution for Super users and End Users across the entire programme including Financials, HR/Payroll, Oracle Projects and OBI, together with eLearning for the iProcurement and iExpenses audience. Following a detailed training needs analysis across the whole ITV operation and the development of training programme/materials, Super users and end users were taken through a range of ITV specific intensive courses at each of the core locations (London, Manchester and Leeds) with additional training provided through eLearning where appropriate. End Users experienced ongoing mentoring and support from the iTrain team to ensure that training was fit for purpose into the business environment.
To date classroom training has been delivered to circa 1,200 individuals in various financial roles, with an audience of thousands accessing e-Learning for iProcurement, and iTrain are continuing to deliver end user and web based training on an ongoing basis to those new to financial and HR roles within ITV.
