Using industry best practices, Bovis Lend Lease works with clients to create high quality, sustainable property assets. Bovis Lend Lease engaged with a complimentary Enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation of the Oracle 11i eBusiness Suite to run alongside the existing implementation of Peoplesoft HR and Payroll. The Oracle eBusiness Suite application was designed to support construction and building operations throughout the European project base running a multi-organisation, multi-company implementation of Oracle. The implementation including the full Financials suite of modules (General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), nAccounts Receivable (AR), PU, iProcurement, iExpenses, Content Management (CM), Fixed Assets (FA)) integrated with the Project Accounting Costing and Billing modules, Project Resource Management and Oracle Time and Labour.
Enabling Change
iTrain were introduced to the project by Ian Jones, the Oracle European Project Manager following a competitive public tender process. Working alongside KPMG, the programme change management partners, iTrain supported all aspects of the European implementation of the Oracle eBusiness Suite including Financials and Project Accounting and integration to the existing Peoplesoft HR and Payroll solution for this major construction and building programme implementation. Our consultants developed specialist knowledge of the Bovis construction, building and programme management streams delivering functional consultancy, technical consultancy, change management and training. Our team was responsible for the analysis, design, development and delivery of Oracle as required for processes associated with the building industry and the subsequent upgrade to Oracle r12. Implementation, test and training programmes were developed and delivered to support business users throughout Europe included the UK, France, Spain, Portugal, Eastern Europe, Scandinavia and Turkey. Throughout the programme iTrain provided beneficial business consultancy and advice to Bovis to ensure that their entire business workforce were prepared and enabled to take full advantage of the new Oracle systems.
