Courses commence promptly at 09:30 and are scheduled to finish between 16:00 and 16:30. Your trainer will inform you if the scheduled times change or vary in any way, by virtue of smaller class sizes or other.


When making travel arrangements please aim to arrive fifteen minutes prior to the start time on the first day. On the last day of your course our training centres are used to delegates with suitcases!


By Train

Leave the station (Edinburgh, Waverley) by the steps to Market Street (or by the main pedestrian exit to Waverley Bridge, turning left then left again into Market Street). Cross Market Street along from the City Art Centre and turn left, going under the large decorated bridge. Bear right into Jeffrey Street past Jury’s Hotel to the junction (traffic lights) with the High Street. Cross the High Street into St Mary’s Street (continuation of Jeffrey Street) and the training centre is down the hill on the left (situated between Slanji and the Present Shop).

By Car:

If you are arriving by car, then there are three multi-storey car parks just a few minutes walk from Edinburgh Training and Conference Venue. A concessionary rate is available at the St John’s Hill NCP car park; a 10% discount when your parking ticket is validated by the centre's receptionist.

By Air:

Outside of Edinburgh airport's main terminal is a rank for airport taxis. These are not ‘black cabs’, but private licensed cars available at standard rates. The trip to the training centre takes around 25 minutes and costs around £16.

By Taxi:

You can pick up a black taxi by visiting one of the many ranks located in Edinburgh, hail one in the street or order one by phone.

We would advise you to give clear instructions to the taxi driver and specify that the venue is situated on St Mary’s Street to avoid the risk of ending up at one of the other conferencing venues in Edinburgh (as has unfortunately happened to previous delegates).

Disabled access is available throughout the training centre, For specific queries please call our Central Team on 0207 608 1835.

Refreshment Breaks

There are normally breaks mid-morning and mid-afternoon when Clients may help themselves to tea, coffee & biscuits. Chilled mineral water is also available.

Lunch is scheduled at 12.30 p.m. an inclusive service from the onsite restaurant.

Please let our Training Administration team know of any dietary requirements.

Emergency Contact

If an emergency message is left for you during the course, we will inform you immediately. There is also a general message board outside

the training suite where any messages or faxes received for delegates are posted.
